Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Restaurant Mix & Match ("RMM", "the app", "we", "us") handles information when a Wix site owner installs or uses the app.
2. Information the app accesses
To provide Mix & Match configuration, the app accesses Wix Restaurants information associated with the installed site. This can include Restaurant menu items, modifier groups and choices, prices or surcharges, visibility and online-ordering placement information, operation/fulfilment context, and Wix identifiers for those resources.
The app also accesses limited Wix app-instance and billing-status information so it can determine whether an installation has paid or trial access and provide support information such as the installed app version and app instance identifier.
3. Information the app stores
RMM stores app-owned configuration and ownership metadata needed to manage its work safely. This includes references to the source Restaurant item and choice group, selected Mix & Match limits, snapshots used for verification/reset, identifiers for RMM-generated modifier groups, and a minimal selector configuration used by the customer-facing widget.
Wix Restaurants remains the system of record for menu items, pricing and orders. RMM does not maintain a replacement cart, checkout, payment or fulfilment database.
4. Customer and payment data
The customer selector passes the genuine Restaurant catalog item and selected native modifiers into Wix Current Cart. RMM does not intentionally collect or store restaurant customer names, customer email addresses, payment card details, or checkout payment credentials. Wix handles downstream cart, checkout, payment, Restaurant order and fulfilment processing.
5. How information is used
Information is used to provide the app, preview and apply requested Restaurant configuration, verify changes, support safe updates and Reset, render the compact customer selector, determine subscription entitlement, troubleshoot failures, and respond to support or privacy requests.
6. Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell personal data and do not share Wix user data with advertisers or data brokers. The app relies primarily on Wix-hosted infrastructure, Wix authentication, Wix Data and Wix commerce/Restaurants services.
This policy may be hosted using GitHub Pages. GitHub hosts these static legal pages only and is not used as storage for RMM Restaurant configuration data.
7. Security
RMM is designed around Wix-managed authentication/authorization, HTTPS transport, Wix-hosted app infrastructure and least-privilege app permissions. Consequential Restaurant changes use ownership/readback checks and bounded reset/recovery logic.
8. Retention and deletion
Configuration metadata is retained while needed to manage active or recoverable RMM setups. Site owners can use RMM's Reset flow to restore managed Restaurant items before uninstall where appropriate. Because uninstall behavior and platform capabilities can vary, contact support for deletion of app-controlled data that remains after uninstall.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal data. Many customer-order privacy requests may relate to data controlled by the Wix site owner or Wix rather than RMM.
10. International processing
Wix and GitHub may process or host information in different countries as part of providing their services. Their processing is governed by their applicable terms and privacy practices.
11. Children
RMM is intended for Wix site owners and business users. It is not directed to children.
12. Developer Preview dependency
RMM currently relies on Wix Restaurants Item Modifier Groups, which Wix labels Developer Preview. That platform status may lead to API changes. It does not change the privacy purposes described in this policy.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app, its data practices, platform dependencies or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
